The Samsung PC Studio 3 does not recognize my u700 Gleam cell phone connected to USB port. Need help!?

The software "help" stated that the "Connection Manager" should automatically recognize the bell, but it did not. Under the "phone setting" of the "Settings & Tools", there are 9 settings available, but again there is no selection for USB settings. I clicked the "connect" button in Connection Chief of the Samsung PC studio 3, however the window kept showing cell not connected. Under the u700 cell call "Settings & Tools", there is a selection for Bluetooth Menu, however not other methods of connections.
