My samsung phone earphone malfunctioned and its still in warranty,i ambition to get it replaced.

My friends walking has a small icon on looks like a set of earphones with a cherry diagonal column going through. We have rang the network provider and this is a problem with the telephone not the network. Not confident of the model at the second. Any one have any ideas. The phone will not allow any calls to be sent or received. Thanks for any balm in advance.

Would you claim it looks like the handset of an ancient style condominium phone ? this normally appears when you no signal but then you would normally have ''regional service'' where the network icon is (02, t-mobile or whatever) i would divulge its a network affair and not a bell one especially when they are unab! le to use the phone in anyway.
