Ok this is a tough one because they both great brands Iv owned frequent samsung and nokia phones including xpres! smusic so provided you want a no sweat big phone get the nokia on the other hand provided you want a complicated phone excite the blast.

Battery life is more appropriate on the samsung. The camera is stronger on the Nokia. Here is a comparison to look at. The Samsung is a bit newer. I would go with the Nokia.

I own the t629, and I determine it's a great phone. I personally don't like the conduct the Nokia 5300 looks, and don't care for any of the cutting edge phones that Motorola is putting outside.
