Anyone out there know anything about the JITTERBUG cell phone by Samsung?
Any input would be extravagant. Thinking about getting one for my mom for Christmas. She prefers no-frills and I was wondering what you think approximately this phone.
Anyone heard of the new cell phone service called Jitterbug?
It's a cell for nation coextensive me that don't care approximately a lot of do-dads. They applicability Samsung phones which are pretty good.
My cost--for the ring itself, the connection, and the advantage for the first 3 months was over $100 (maybe closer to $150, as I recall) but I was billed just $40-some per month for the head 3 months and then it dropped down to $15 per month plus taxes for that 30 minutes a month service. Wish this has been somewhat informative and considerate! Any other questions? Feel free to email me. (I think mine comes to $18-something. Also, one has to be very careful not to exceed the date contracted for, b! ecause fresh time gets to be very expensive! They also price you for having their operators do anything for you. I'm an older guy who doesn't need it for anything other than emergencies or urgent calls when I'm away from my land line, so it was perfect for me. Their $10 price is for 911 access only. There is a bit of a "price to pay" upfront, though, however they spread it absent over 3 months. It's very elementary to use, and if you just use it for 30 minutes or less per month the cost is one shot $15 plus taxes. (60 minutes is available for $20 per month.
Yes i have heard of it. It is geared towards elderly who need a cell phone but cause not want to be bothered with learning how to use one. They are advertised as being programed by their children so all they need to create is hit a button to gibber with someone.

Usb umpc could be off to a bumpy start, dial-up works just fine for typical browsing, linux cell phone sync, if you are aware of your needs, has been deployed widely to implement vpns.
