Samsung Juke cell phone, water damage? PLEASE HELP?

It did this all night until approximately 4 in the morning it shut off altogether. I did som! e reading online and found out putting your ring in rice draws out the moisure. So last night i dropped my samsung juke in a ample glass of diet coke. Well diet coke. At first it worked and i made a little telephone ring to brew sure it worked. This morning, i brought out my hair drier and tried to get the moisture out of it a little bit (there was evident moisture in the screen, you could see droplets of water. Then, it shut off. I've had it in rice for a few hours, the moisture in the screen is gone, and nowadays when i turn the phone on, it looks static-y for half a moment then goes to the verizon wireless turn-on screen and sticks there. I turned it back on and the screen was even-handed a fulgid white glowing. Im guessing this is improvement? Should i keep it in the rice longer? Am i hopeless? PLEASE help me :[, you'll be my hero.
